Powerful New Step - Ohio - Hope
Saturday, June 27th, 2009Dear Friends,
It’s summer here at the beach and life is full of relaxed charm — I hope everything is good with you in your life.
After experimenting with a new step for many months, it’s now an “official” TAT step. Many people tried it out and reported that it covers a lot of ground and feels very powerful and significant in their healing. It’s been added as the first part of the forgiveness and apology steps. Here it is:
All the communications and connections related to this are completing now.
It’s been added right before all the forgiveness and apology steps because often people feel like they can’t forgive because they have things they have to say to someone first. Things like: “You don’t know how awful what you did was for me” or “I don’t want to ever forgive you because ______________.” Once those things are communicated, forgiveness is easier. When doing this step, we don’t need to know what all those communications are, we just make the intention that they’re completing now.
When a person is stuck in stress from traumas or difficult life conditions, there are usually incomplete communications between them and many parts of their lives. Here’s a typical list of where communications break down, followed by thoughts that embody this break-down:
- a part of them that is isolated and frozen in limiting beliefs (“I’m all alone in this and no one cares about me”)
- people who were there (“you hurt me”)
- people they wished were there but weren’t (“you didn’t protect me”)
- parts of their body that hold stress (“my tummy aches”)
- parts of them that experienced similar events at other times (“I’m three and this happened to me then, too”)
- ancestors who passed down related beliefs (“you can’t trust the opposite sex”)
- God (“You let this happen and I never want to talk to You again”)
The intent of this step is that all those communications are completing now.
A hallmark of trauma is isolation. All the people listed just above, the parts of the person’s body, the parts frozen in limiting beliefs, the ancestors, etc. are all likely to be in a condition of separation from the rest. The other intention of this step is that all these connections are completing now. By its very nature, TAT melts disconnection, lack of communication and isolation, and a person naturally feels more love, happiness and connection.
Our free how-to download now includes this step.
Here’s what Kathy Reed said about it:
I have found the communications and connections step very useful. I sometimes feel like it kind of sweeps out energy that doesn’t belong anymore and somehow reclaims my own core energy — I feel a bit lighter and freer when I hold the Pose on this step. Sometimes I see dolphins spiraling around moving some energy out and other energy in.
We had a great time in Boston doing TAT together for four days. People commented on how amazing it was that such big, heavy issues that we all put in a giant “pot” together dissolved in one session. You could really feel the density in the room as more and more “stuff” was added to the pot…followed by the lightness, clarity and increased presence of our group.
The next workshops are scheduled for Ohio and we hope you’ll join us! Originally, the Ohio TAT workshops were part of a symposium. The symposium itself has been cancelled. However, if there is enough response, we would love to still have the TAT Basics and Practicing Presence workshops. Because of the late notice, everyone who signs up will get the early bird rate of $325.00 per workshop. You can also save $50.00 if you attend both workshops. To sign up, please contact Julie by next Tuesday, June 30th. If there’s enough interest, we’ll go ahead with the workshops.
We have some great workshops planned for this year’s Symposium in California. I’ll have descriptions of the workshops for you in an upcoming newsletter. If you’d like to take advantage of the monthly payments and earlybird discount, you can go ahead and register in the store.

Here’s a beautiful story from Esther Lehmann Schaub about doing TAT for cancer.
Dear Tapas,
I am living in Switzerland, am 54 years old, have a 19−year−old daughter and I know since 3 weeks that I have got cancer. A friend gave me your Healing the Emotional Aspects of Cancer DVD and the booklet. I can’t describe to you how grateful I am about having this. All your presence in the DVD – all your spirit and power and light comes into me and helps me each day to hope and heal. I do TAT every evening and in every difficult situation. Your presence in my life has changed me completely in a short time to a person who started to live real and here and now, enjoying all the wonderful things in life gratefully. I believe in my healing.
Thank you, with Love,
Esthy
Thank you, Esthy.
As you may know, I used TAT for myself, along with a variety of other healing approaches including three chemo treatments, to help clear an advanced stage of breast cancer. I am now cancer−free. In the Healing the Emotional Aspects of Cancer video and booklet, I talk very personally and in great detail about how to use TAT. Emotional and mental viewpoints that have been stuck in old traumas and negativity easily release with TAT. When that happens, the body’s natural healing energy is freed up for dealing with physical illness and creating better health. Please consider getting these materials if you or someone you know is dealing with cancer or some other physical condition.
My best wishes for your radiant good health and happiness.
Love,
Tapas
