TAT for Better Sex; Dizziness With TAT?; TAT Helps Student Succeed

Saturday, May 29th, 2010

Dear Friends,

It’s been awhile since I’ve written. It’s good to be home and back in touch.

TAT for Better Sex webinar
July 19, 20, 21, 22, 26, 27, 28, 29 and August 2 — 10:00am PST / 17:00 UTC

Does having a happier intimate relationship with better sex sound great to you? Yes? Okay then! I have a great new webinar just for you. Don’t worry - you don’t actually have to say anything personal or have anyone see you via webcam for this to work.

We’ll do TAT to clear up limiting beliefs, negativity and past incidents involving parents, family, friends, society, media, religion, spirituality and everywhere else. Check out the subjects in our 9-session series:

Session 1 past and current intimate relationship partners
Session 2 violence and s ex
Session 3 sex
Session 4 men
Session 5 women
Session 6 expectations about how relationships are supposed to be and what’s even possible
Session 7 sexual expectations - how it’s "supposed" to be
Session 8 intimacy
Session 9 sex that is fun, satisfying and intimate

You can sign up for individual sessions or for the whole series by clicking here.

Here’s how it’ll go:

  • We’ll meet for an hour and a half.
  • I’ll talk a little bit about the subject of the day, we’ll each think about it and write down what we’d like to clear up about it.
  • Then we’ll share whatever we want to from what we wrote.
  • I’ll lead us through all the steps of TAT, including some new experimental statements that pump up the reality of what we’ve chosen in the "I choose" step. (I think you’ll love these.)
  • We’ll share whatever we want about what happened for each of us as we did TAT together.
  • We’ll use any remaining time for questions and answers.

We’ll each benefit from everything that everyone puts into the "pot" - whether it’s said aloud or included silently. People who’ve experienced doing TAT with a group say the power of it is really great. I think so, too. Just to make it really clear, you can put things into the "pot" without ever saying a word about it to anyone.

Want to join in? Register here . You can do the individual sessions that interest you for $55 each or sign up for the whole series and save $60.

Jasmine White has been using TAT for a long time and loves it. Here’s her story.

I was blessed to have received my first TAT healing session with Tapas Fleming in 1995. At that time I was very stressed out and chronically ill. I had little or no self-esteem and was painfully shy. After my first TAT session I felt light and blissful, like I could do anything. I just floated around for days with a silly grin on my face.

I started telling everyone about TAT. I did it with friends and co-workers with amazing results. For years, I had been interested in going into the field of healing and now I knew that TAT was what I wanted to do. However, I didn’t have a college degree (and there wasn’t a TAT Certification program yet.) I had dropped out of junior college twice before earning my Associates Degree, then I gave up on my ability to learn. Somehow magically, even though it wasn’t what we had worked on, that healing with Tapas allowed me to believe that I could earn a Masters Degree. Wow!

Three days after that first TAT session I enrolled in the local college, confident, determined and focused. I used TAT on myself daily for various issues and was delighted to discover that because of my reduced stress levels I was able to pay more attention in class, retain more information and earn higher grades than ever before. I even earned the top grade in my physiology class.

I went on to earn my bachelor’s degree in Psychology, graduating with honors, and received my master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine. I never would have made it if it weren’t for TAT.

Of course, I didn’t really need a college degree to practice TAT, but I did discovered how much I love students and, well, I’ve always loved teaching, so when Tapas called me a few years ago and asked me if I would like to teach TAT, I jumped at the chance!

Now I teach TAT to graduate students for improved focus and scholastic success. Just last month a woman who had failed her certification class twice called to let me know that this time she passed the test thanks to TAT and now she is happily employed in her chosen field.

I also teach TAT to anyone who would like better health, more joyful relationships and financial ease. I have a TAT Basics class coming up in Austin this June.

Tapas Acupressure Technique has allowed me to live my dream life. I am doing what I love, married to a wonderful man, enjoying great health and sharing TAT with people, all because of Tapas Fleming.

Thank you, Tapas, from the depths of my heart!

Sincerely,
Jasmine White, MSTCM Certified TAT Trainer

We recently got an email asking about dizziness when using TAT. The writer said:

The second time I used TAT, and then again today (the only time since), afterwards I became sort of dizzy and unsteady. So I’m wondering if there are any acupuncture points I can work with to help me with that after-effect. It’s been a little more than an hour since I did my round of work with it and I’m still unsteady, so would appreciate any advice you may have about clearing this when it happens.

I suggest that you do something that is grounding to bring the energy that is in your head down into the lower half of your body. Some suggestions:

Walk.

Place your palm (of either hand) centered a couple of inches below your navel and breathe deeply with your attention there for about five minutes.

Massage your feet , especially a point on top of each foot between the bones that go down to your big toe and the next toe. It’s called "Liver 3" in Chinese acupuncture.

You can do TAT by putting in a TAT "pot" any of the following that apply to you:

    • It’s not safe to be in my body.
    • Whatever’s making it so that I get dizzy and unsteady feeling when I do TAT.
    • Feeling ungrounded

If you still feel unsteady and dizzy when you do TAT, you can hold your hands in front of you as if you were doing the pose on someone else who was sitting in front of you as you intend that you’re doing it for yourself.

It’s possible to do TAT by imagining your hands are touching the points instead of actually touching them.

You can ask someone to do TAT on themselves on your behalf.

One of these approaches should work for you.

As most of you probably know, my mom died recently and I’m in the process of closing up and selling our family home. I figure there’s probably a few of us going through these types of transitions in our lives right now. So, I’m offering a couple of webinars on this for us.

Coming to Peace with Someone Who Has Died or Moved On
June 10 — 10:00am PDT/17:00 UTC

Whether you’ve lost someone recently or a long time ago, if you feel that the process is incomplete - you haven’t really said good-bye, you still hurt inside, you feel like you can’t move on and part of you is still shocked by what happened - then please join me in the webinar.

TAT is such a really gentle way to completely be done with the stress and continue in your living heart-to-heart relationship with whoever died or left your life. If you have feelings like, "I won’t be able to be in touch with that person unless I’m feeling grief and pain", then TAT is a great way to truly move into a deeper level of contact with that person and let go of that belief.

If you’d like to join me in this webinar, register here . Registration is $55.

Closing Up a Home and Moving On
June 21 — 10:00am PDT/17:00 UTC

Just last week, I held a bunch of my mom’s pillows and cried on my way to throwing them away in the trash can. A part of me wanted to keep the pillows so my mom would have a place to rest her head. I had a quick conversation with her (while in the TAT Pose) and it became clear that she wouldn’t be needing those pillows. This is part of the process of closing down the house…dealing with all the things.

Some of us are closing down homes because of a parent’s death, some of us because of a difficult financial times, or because we’re moving for other reasons. We’ll put all of our feelings and thoughts about letting go of a home into a "pot" and do TAT together. We’ll include any fears or concerns we have about the next phase of our lives and our next home.

If you’d like to join me in this webinar, register here . Registration is $55.

I decided to lead this next webinar after a TAT session I did for myself that felt huge and wonderful!

Drenched in Love - Opening the Gates to Giving and Receiving Love
June 28 — 10:00am PDT/17:00 UTC

Endless, eternal love is your true nature. Why not enjoy it now? In this webinar, we’ll start the process of removing what’s in the way of connecting with love and sharing your love with others. Nothing is as beautiful or attractive as you, so let’s remove the stuff in the way of knowing, feeling, and sharing you and the love that is your nature, your essence. Hey, doesn’t it sound a whole lot better than stuff you heard on TV about needing to buy the next new things so you’re acceptable? Or living according to decisions made in past stressful times in our lives? Sound good? Join me for the Drenched in Love webinar. You can register by clicking here . Registration is $55.

The trip to Belgium and Denmark was really fun. It was so deeply rich and rewarding for me - and, judging by the happy faces and what people said, we all had a great time. I’d like to thank again my hosts in Europe: Lars Mygind and Else Baden-Jensen in Denmark, and Yves Wauthier Freymann and Brigitte Hansoul in Belgium. My special thanks to Tony Brazil for doing the French-English translation in Belgium.

Love and warm wishes,
Tapas

Creating a Safe and Sacred Space, Experiencing Your True Self

Tuesday, November 17th, 2009

Dear Friends,

Out my window is a big, blue afternoon sky with white and light gray puffy clouds and a row of tall, silhouetted palm trees standing in the California sunshine. The pure simplicity of trees being trees in the sun feels like what recent workshop participants said they enjoyed: simply being who they are. The TAT work we did took away stuff that wasn’t them (like childhood beliefs and traumas that hadn’t been fully resolved) and what remained was each person in their own natural state. It was beautiful.

It’s become clear just how much our basic workshop ground rules for doing TAT in a group create a safe and sacred space. The most important rule is this: there’s no commenting, analyzing, offering insights or expanding on what others in the group say. (more…)

Regaining Your Innocent Heart Teleseminar, TAT Card Deck

Tuesday, October 20th, 2009

Dear Friends,

Are you so busy dealing with the details that you’ve lost sight of your goals? Do you find that sometimes your heart’s desires are clouded?

It happens to me and lots of people I know – getting involved in the events of the moment, we lose the deep connection with our heart and our most meaningful goals for ourselves. Sometimes, it’s hard to slow down enough to reflect on what we really want. So, we’ve come up with some fun and easy ways for us to do that. (more…)
