About me

I am so grateful to have TAT as a tool to help my clients with a variety of issues. TAT has also been very helpful to me, personally, and I am passionate about sharing it with others. I have also been a psychotherapist, licensed clinical social worker, and licensed substance abuse counselor for almost 20 years. I enjoy working with individuals and couples, and I am certified in Imago Relationship Therapy (form of couples therapy). I am also a certified clinical supervisor, as well. I welcome the opportunity to help others with TAT, which has been a gift to me and my clients!

Weight Loss

Kaiser Permanente's Center for Health Research has received a $2.1 million grant from the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine to study the effectiveness of TAT.

"The Tapas Acupressure Technique did show superiority in helping people maintain weight loss in a pilot study involving 90 participants," says Charles Elder, MD, principal investigator and an internal medicine physician at Kaiser Permanente Northwest. Click here to read the complete article.
